is this going to be wife and young (9,7,5) kid safe? i only ask as i have gone on other trips (not with anyone from here) that turned into, up all night, fights, lots of 4 letter word, naked, drunk parties. not that i mind if it is just me but with the kids not so much so i just thought i would ask.

I know some of us are from the Portland area, but geez, not all of us look forward to running around nude with a bunch of guys

Joking aside, I currently believe that the atmosphere is going to be like a family BBQ. All the 4x4 groups or individuals I have been around are very responsible, good people, and I'd like to keep it that way. Most groups I run with have it in their charter that they are family-oriented. As for how late anyone stays up... it's a bit hard to control. When I camp, I get tired early and wake up early, so I'm a fan of turning in sooner than later - gotta get back on the trail ASAP the next day!

wow, sounds like a good trip!! lol I actually do NOT want that to happen. I'm sure that we will all have a great time and keep everything calm and G-rated for your kids. I will strive to make sure i do that, cant say for everyone else but everything should be O.K..
