    Yep, no problem.

    Vehicle: 2017 Toyota 4runner

    (1) Xtreme Pro H11 LED headlights on by themselves

    (2) Amber Squadron sport with wide cornering in the fogs

    (3) High beams turn on (baja shut off)

Correct, it demonstrates the lack of cut off on the amber Baja lights as shown by illuminating the entire wall, when a fog light would have a flat hard horizontal cut off with no illumination above the horizon.

I have never been in a dense fog where I felt using my high beams allowed me to see better. Never!

When I lived in the Bay Area, I've seen dense fog where you could barely see your outstretched hand (let alone the tail lights from the car in front of you).

Lights or no lights...nothing helped you see beyond a few feet. As @LoneStar72 said, the best thing to do was to open your windows and listen and just follow the lines on the road (with your fog lights to hopefully help see those lines). It was also smart to go slow...but not unresonably slow to where you'd get rear-ended.

    up there ^^^
All good glad to be able to help.

The LED upgrade with 6K bulbs will change everything to the same color as the DTRLs.

Looks bad ass with the Faux Pro headlight mod too!

Luckily it has never been Bay Area bad up near me. There have been some sphincter clenching times but the distance traveled is not that long. I'm sure in that type of fog, like you and @LoneStar72 said, high beams are not ideal. Even for me and my super powers.

Been in the mountains going 85mph down hill... pretty much like driving right into a cloud. Trust me when I say high beams will blind you. At least with LB and fogs you can see the stripe in the middle of the road until slow down enough to not feel like I'm about to die or run into a deer. High beams are useful so you can see the cloud in the distance and slow down enough then turn off HBs then I am able to see a little bit.

In that kind of fog where its so dense you cant see maybe 25 feet thats it maybe, its real dangerous, you cant slow down for fear of a truck running up your ass, cant pull over for fear of getting run into on side of road. So all we are left with is gotta go at moderate speed, hope a deer isn't standing in the road. Why high end fog lights are very helpful.

 You'd need to upgrade to Superman-level X-ray vision beams for that type of fog!

Yea no doubt. The fog up near me is wimpy compared to that. It has been bad, what the weatherpersons would consider zero visibility but then when are they ever right?

So the xd website suggests h9 for high beams and h11 for lb. I understand its the same base and chip. However, what is the difference in these 2? Is it a different wattage?
    Edit : @RobP62 help. Hahaha

@XenonDepot i feel kinda dumb after reading 20 pages of this thread. I ordered the h11s for low beam and h9 for high beam. Is that a mistake for my 16 dcsb trdor? Should I have went with h11s. I knew I should have read this thread first.

Edit: Saw the post that asked the same question. Must have overlooked it the first time through. Im still a little confused as to why it would even be called different if its the same exact bulb, base, fitment, etc. I guess i was overthinking it. Sorry to be that guy

Stock bulbs there's a difference H9 draw 55 watts.... the H11 LEDs are all the same as the H9 LEDs. Difference is the HB have a reflector housing and the LB have a projector housing.

Sorry for the delay. Chores are kicking my ass. To be honest, I'm pretty sure the the only difference is wattage but that only applies to halogens. Earlier on it was determined that all three housings (high, low, fog) all ran H11 bulbs. I never researched the differences between the H11 and H9 myself.

If it's not too late and you want piece of mind, cancel the H9 and get the H11 instead. I looked at the specs and the pics on the Xenon Depot site and they look identical. Unfortunately there's no picture of the plug, that attaches to the truck. I woul like to see that too.

The difference between an H9 and an H11 as far as LEDs are concerned is the mounting tabs on the bulb base are different and the connector to plug the bulb in is different. However, these can be designed in a way they are interchangeable, which nearly all LED manufactures do as there is no harm and it reduces the number of different LED permutations that need to be made. So while you ordered an H9 and H11, they should be the exact same product but listed under different bulb types to make it easier for consumers to find what they need. In short, you are fine with what you ordered.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Thanks to @crashnburn80 and @RobP62 for helping out. To clarify, when ordering H8, H9, H11, and H16 Xtreme LED Pro Kit we ship out the exact same kit.

Also anyone have any recommendations for the dome and map lights, Amazon link would be appreciated!

Just ordered the H11's for highs and lows, and some tail light bulbs. Thanks everyone for your input.

Are there any gains to be had from switching out the LEDs that come in the Rigid Industries Fog lights?
