need help on picking out a lift

my 05 tacoma needs a lift and i cant decide what lift to put in and I'm open to any lift you guys think is best picture will follow

 

How often do you go offroad, and whats your budget?

 

i dont go off roading to often it will be more for show then anything but im looking for a mean look but not to over the top and im open to any budget

Ha go to the suspension thread. Look at benca1 post about OME 885. Great lift for great price. There is also many more in Suspension

 

means that i want to see where this thread goes and what people say (i have the same question) and when i go to all the post that i have posted, this thread shows up so i dont have to search for it

 

just do a custom body lift with hockey pucks

 

how does that even work? drill through the puck and get longer bolts?

 

ive got a 3", its a spacer above the coil and a pro comp aal in the rear.

 

do you have any complaints about your spacer lift?

 

not one bit, i cant even notice a difference in the spacer, i was worried about it at first because everyone says stay away from it but honestly it rides like it did stock. with the rear aal its a bit stiffer than stock but i only notice it wen i go over things like speed bumps

 

i have no idea and i really dont even wanna know how to do it i just know of a few folks that have done it you could say that they are idiots

 

im in the same place you were. put reading this, i've made up my mind. which spacer lift did you end up getting?

 

yea it sounds that way. hahaha i could see one of my redneck friends actually do this to an old chevy because most of them play hockey hahaha

 

Well if your lifting for looks... a spacer is all you should need. If you want a little versatility then do 5100's set at 2.5" with a 1.5" AAL.

 

now that's just wrong and dumb IMHO...

but to each their own...

 

i ended up getting the 3" ez lift spacer off of ebay and it came with a pro comp aal for the rear. with tax and shipping it was like $210 ill try and find the link for you
