So, are the bugs out of the 17 models? Or are they (as some say) a Turdgen

I don't hate CR. I just don't take their word for it blindly.

10k on mine love it.. except gas prices lately.
Hope your truck is one of the first to hit 300k to prove all doubters wrong.

Had a bad 2017 that I got rid of. I may attempt a 2020 model with the refresh and rear disc brakes that’s my plan as of now.

What’s all the rear disc hype about? Don’t get me wrong, if they offered a free conversion I would do it. But I have driven through some bad road conditions and other than having worn tires I have never felt as if I wouldn’t be able to stop.

Gas here is around $2.80 and I get about 15-17 MPG.

I have four more years to pay on it, by that time it will have over 200,000 miles on it.

Own a 1 st gen love it
Own a Raptor love it, (10 speed shifts a lot.)
Recently bought a 3 rd gen, got no complaints so far.
Too many people want the 3rd gen to be something it’s not. I think of it like this. It’s not the best at anything but it’s pretty good at everything.

I also cant say ive had any of the towing issues others have. Towed a 2,000 lb trailer twice, once with my mini truck on it, so another 2,000 ish pounds, and once with my MR2 which weighs almost 2,800 if im not mistaken.

Well, due to layoffs I can report that I was wrong regarding the mileage. I have five more months to pay and my truck is currently at 150k+

103k '17 steering rack just went out on drivers side...didn't think I'd make it home from work. steering wheel would go cockeyed, hit the brakes and the wheel straightened. looked underneath and driver side was all --__ on the steering rack rod 0_o
