Sorry to hear that brother. I think we are going to have to put our dog down soon too. His back legs are just getting worse and he is having issues going potty and just getting up in general. It's so hard losing such a big part of the family.

Thank you to everyone for the sentiments, for animal lovers, I think we'd all rather our animals live just as long as we do...

I know it was a tough decision for us but I fully believe the right one. She (Bailey) was diagnosed with cancer in one of toes about 6 years ago and also a tumor in her hip. The last scan she has multiple tumors in her and one specifically that would eventually press against her heart. She was a trooper, lived and played like she was fine. For a boxer, she had a good life, she was 14 when we put her to rest. Over the last 3 months she started having problems with her rear legs, she couldn't put a lot of pressure on them so she started putting more pressure on her other leg but eventually that leg couldn't hold up. Our vet prescribed a light pain med which helped but she still struggled a little. over the last week we noticed her not eating like she normally does (That girl didn't miss a meal..EVER.. LOL) she would struggle to squat to go potty, that's when my wife and I knew we had to make a decision. We didn't want her to tough it out and be in pain just for us to be selfish.

Wife is taking it really hard, she was a momma's girl. I think if we were being chased by a bear, she'd stop to bite me to slow me down so my wife and her could get away.. LOL....

We had a vet come to the house and administer the medication, it was important for us to have her at home and not stressed out at the vet's office with all the noises and such. The vet was really good about it, gave us all the time we needed, at the end they carried her away and in 2 weeks we'll have her remains returned to us.

Yeah I did but his nerves are so bad he is losing muscle mass in is back end. I don't think wheels will help him use the bathroom and stuff

    Not yet...
Sorry we missed last meet up, wife and I enjoyed the last one we attended, my season has slowed and we have a bit more flexibility now for meet ups.
So sorry to hear of the loss, we had to put a family pet down last year and it still pains us today, they really do leave paw prints on your heart, thoughts and prayers to all your family.

Did they reopen yet? They closed for a month or something. Wasn't sure what the reopen day was.

The only reason I go to Glendale is to see hockey games. That 1hr+ drive is bullshit!

All this talk about Pho is killing me! I didn't eat at all yesterday and I'm starving. Hell might go there for lunch today if they are open.

Noodles Ranch in scottsdale (scottsdale and Thomas) is pretty decent but it's tiny. I used to go to Pho 602 quite a bit after class at GCU (35th Ave and Bethany home)
