I need to get out too.
I'll have new ST Maxx's on and a new alignment in the next week or two so that makes me want to test it all out before Swisha.

I know you watch all these ZR2 vid's the moment they are out @Ttaco15 , but damn I was impressed how much air he got under that thing! With no damage, I think he was lucky that he did not break anything.

In this video, he is talking about 1st gen, 2nd gen. What years define those?

I think the first gen were back like 2000-2003 ish. Gmc sonoma zr2 trim, blazer i think came in zr2. I dont think the zr2 gave them much back then. Now that option is worthwhile with the 2nd gen

The Kraken Lady got some good shots :woot:
I also discovered that my 265/75/16 tire diameter is 30.5 :anonymous: I feel bad for those people with 37s that did that trail and had a hard time.

    you drilled A pillar?

I was reluctant to do so cause of water getting in but the ARB also just gives plastic inserts that you screw into so maybe not as sturdy and water tight as rivet?

Either way I just used 3M industrial doublesided tape I took form work. Hasn't come off yet.

I've read people using 3M tape or "military grade" velcro. I drilled into my Subarus pillar for the snorkel, but I wont on my truck.

i know @Theicemedic drilled his as well.

    Dunno about @Taco-Can
But Peter and I both used the 3M tape. and theres a few threads on here I found of people using the 3M as well.
I guess it depends on the snorkel as well.

For some of the cheaper ebay ones you need that A pillar support since they are flimsy.
For the ARB i have you really do not need it and I put the 3M tape just to be safe but I dont see it ever coming off etc. Even after having it get smacked a bunch by the trees last trail run in Minden it's still good.
