Curious what made everyone join tacomaworld as opposed to all of the other forums out there. Are most members only on this forum or multiple forums? If you are on multiple forums are the views about the vehicles and mods different across them? Just a random Tuesday thought that I figured I would post.

The other ones seem dead and/or full of garbage ads and pop ups.

Yep, none are even close to active as this. It’s a hell of a forum.

The community and the comprehensive knowledge here sold me. The forum is user friendly and I've found that even if I Google a basic question about my truck, some thread on TacomaWorld is almost always the first result to pop up. This forum has everything. I also joined TTORA, TacomaNation, and TacomaOffroad, but this is the only forum that I regularly visit.

As for myself I stumbled across tacomaworld years ago when contemplating buying my first Tacoma. I've never looked at the other forums and don't really care to as I'm happy with the members and information I get most of the time.

This is by far the most active tacoma, if not toyota forum online. Plus it runs very smooth and has a great easy to use lay out. Not to mention all the great knowledge on here.

"Member" since 2011 active member since a few weeks ago when I bought my 2018. I had an 09 years ago but couldn't remember the password to this account so made a new one. Then when I bought my new Tacoma I couldn't remember that password and remembered this one. Funny how that works.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
CustomTacos is pretty dead, still good info to read but not worth joining anymore. Toyota Nation is for cars and vans mostly. Expo Portal is decent but only for certain folks here. YotaTech is mostly 95 and down models but great for some stuff and fairly active. Marlin Crawlers forums are decent for building a crawler or leaf spring tech but most people here just wanna bolt some stuff on and take IG pics haha. Probably worth mentioning that TTORa was worth a damn once but the owner sold out and now it is just an unsearchable mass of great information that no one can read anymore.

IH8MUD is the only other forum I'm on, mostly for my Land Cruiser but they have a lot of members that own other Yotas so there is a good Taco section too.
