That definitely sucks. Pretty much every car parked outside last night got hail damage including my neighbor's new F-150. My house has a lot of cracked window casings, torn screens and a crack in one of the basement windows. Haven't had a chance to check out the roof yet, but so far nothing horrible.

It does. Its a secure garage under the building. Yesterday was actually the first time I've ever parked in our garage here. My office is in the garage and normally don't have enough room. Had to scramble and move everything to one end of the garage.

Toyota must have some good body panels. Checked again this morning and can't find any damage. It set outside for about 10 mins while we moved everything in the garage. Every car around us that was outside has damage.

If you are not dead set on the Ouray side one of my favs is Alta Lakes outside of Telluride. Easy access off the main road and easy access depending on which direction you are going after that. South towards Cortez and 4 corners or going west towards Moab. As others have mentioned this will depend on the fire restrictions in the area.

The road is a little rough getting all the way up, but it isn't horrible if you take it slow. I've seen Audi Q3s, minivans, etc up at the lakes.

We'll be heading to Moab after this so I'll check to see how far out of the way this puts us. She's in a Hyundai Elantra hatchback so I think we may be able to make it depending on road conditions that day. I'll certainly check that out

I would say Alta Lakes and Ouray are about equally out of the way to head back toward Moab via 145.

Check out Last Dollar Rd too. It is on the way to Moab off of highway 62. Once you get into the dispersed camping the road is rough but doable. There is one spot you might not be able to make it past depending on rain (mud hole at the bottom of some switch backs right after a big open meadow you can camp in), but shouldn't matter as you would want to camp before there to head back to 62 and go towards Moab in the morning.

Edit: It is important to note I am recommending all dispersed camping sites with no facilities ( I do think Alta lakes has an outhouse). I've never paid for a camping site and don't have any recommendations outside of dispersed camping.

Any body shop recommendations for hail damage quotes?

The Tacoma and the GX got some dents in the hood. Broke out the topper back glass too.

A lot of times pdr shops will be cheaper than body shops, body shops typically sub out pdr work unless they have an in house person.

I had my damage from last year's storm repaired at Matrix Auto Body in Denver on the recommendation of my uncle who is an auto broker. I have no complaints with the service or quality of work I received. My only small gripe is I feel they didnt do a great job of washing the truck before I got it back. There was still some buffing compound residue in places, but it was minor and wouldnt keep me from using them again.

EDIT: Just realized you were looking for a quote and not actual body work. Your insurance company probably has "preferred providers" that would be a good place to start. You shouldn't be obligated to use them for the work and if the shop you choose ends up needing more money than the initial estimate it will be handled with a supplemental payment, hopefully without issue.

Just toss one of your bumpers from your huge collection up there and call it good. :D

Personally, I don't think I would fix just a roof. Few would ever see the damage.
