Exactly. And obviously OP liked it otherwise he wouldn't have bought it. As long as he didn't over pay for a TRD OR and paid comparable to a used Sr5, no harm no fowl, looks like it came with lift and tires too which I'm sure can be factored into pricing. Seeing OP didnt know what an OR came with, I doubt he's missing anything having an SR5. Still not cool he was mislead though.

 

I agree with the idea of matching up the features it has (or doesn't) to determine what you really have there. Only thing I can add, is that when I purchased my TRD Sport 4x4 & called in the VIN to my insurance agent, she came back & told me it was an SR5 according to the VIN. I believe I read on here that all the upper models start out as SR5's & just get the extra bells & whistles at the factory or port. I know the frame/drivetrain is the same across the board.
P.S.: The insurance was more once she updated the info that it wasn't a SR5.

 

I wonder how many times people are going to ask "did the OP buy new or used". 1st truck, 5th truck, 100th truck..... Do some research before you buy, know the models and options. Sorry, but kind of on you for not knowing what it is you were buying.....

 

No, Toyota does not make an SR5 and then rework it to turn it into a Sport or OR.

I just got insurance for my 18 OR last week and they have it listed as a SR with a lower value as well. I did not correct them because the VIN tells them everything they need to know - it is their software that needs updating.
