That's a long drive at 12mpg. I'll have to plan things out a little more. It was only 15-20 minutes from my house in Tucson to the start of the nearest trail.

Alright fellas I have just finished swapping out all the suspension parts. I am about to start the extra accessories. If I get everything done today or tomorrow, I may be able to make a run up to you guys on Thursday. If this works out I will just need a central location or someones house who wont mind holding shit for others to pick up.

I've been to the area a few times for work. I'm familiar with the traffic but definitely not excited about it. I imagine my mileage will drop to about 9-10 with traffic.

As a Texas resident, state income taxes are completely foreign to me... and paying property tax on a car... cars are depreciating liabilities, not assets. Why are we taxed on something that is constantly losing value? At least my LC was only $4200 in January of this year.

 

Yeah the personal property tax here is ridiculous. The only time I hate how well Tacomas hold their value is when that tax is due.

 

Once I get settled in, I'm going to be buying a DD so I can be a little more comfortable and not burn my entire paycheck at the pump every month.

 

Tacomas make great daily's. Barely burns any grass

 

If I get another Tacoma I'm going to end up modding it like I did the last one and like I did to my 80. I'm trying to find something I'll be less tempted to mod... like the 2019 Rav4 or a Countryman, even the countryman would probably get some go-fast mods.

 

In northern va when you sell your tacoma you have to get a subaru. Those are the rules.
