I think we killed Mobtown

They are beyond thier excrutiating 8 week lead time, and seem to have stopped answering calls and emails.

We’re not dead. Answering the phone with each ring is near impossible and only puts us further behind. I still reply to emails, tags and PM’s. Usually when I’m home for the night and sitting down to catch up on the customer service side of things.

We will admit we are behind on a few orders currently and now our lead times are even longer. Between delays in obtaining materials, personnel issues, major delays with powder coat which we have to outsource, equipment break downs and growing faster than we expected we are in a tight spot.

Growing pains and we can only hope for patience from our customers and try our best to be responsive and on time with deliveries. Latest emails I have that I didn’t reply to are from Monday. I planned to reply to all my unanswered emails in the morning. Point in case, it’s 12:05am here and I’m still working, I was in the shop for 10 hours today and will be back in there in 6 hours.

We aren’t going anywhere, promise.

 

I don’t understand these posts. Why is it a goal to kill people’s well being?

Support a small business. Those guys are working harder for the money than most of us (at least me). That and they are engineers. Hell yea...

 

It’s not clear to me what the OP’s intent or point is. I don’t know much about Mobtown but I do know they are a small company working their butts off trying to do the best they can. I hope they are successful.

This. Ordered my cbi front bumper and it had a minimum 8 week lead time. The mobtown guys work hard and put out good product. The fact that a small shop with a large influx of orders has even close to an 8 week lead time is really good. Some other armor shops I've looked at were closer to 12.

 

They also have people bugging them to put out long sleeve tshirts
