I wish you better luck than I had. She ended up in a Camry.

She said she wanted an SUV when her car eventually goes. It definitely the torque converter. I just want her in a 4 runner that has the same engine as my taco so I can do everything on it. Been looking already and there is an *09 in Savannah with only 62 on the clock but it's way to high in price. They want 24

You like driving get a dually and hot shot. If I wasn't doing this, I would be all over the road.

Well back from lack Wylie. Whoever he had look at the boat before just threw a pile of parts at it since it would crank but wouldn’t run.
Found the fuel line was dry rotted and had 2 holes so went and replaced that. I start looking and see it has a new carburetor, new fuel pump, new starter, new coils. Cranks but still won’t run. Finally pulled the cap and the tips on the distributor are rusted. Clean em up and double check everything and the plugs and wire and of course the timing was off from when they put everything together. Get everything buttoned up and it still won’t fire.
I sit outside for like 30 mins cause it was hot as hell down in the engine cabin. Start wondering if the ignition coil is shot. Switch the ignitions and she fires right up. Switch back to the old ignition and won’t run. Crawl under neath which I should have done from the start and what do i find but an in-line fuse.
Bingo blow fuse. Throw a new one in and hammer down, fired right up! I feel bad for the boss man becuase he hired 2 different marine mechanics and his brother had both engines rebuilt before he passed away. They dumped all that money and parts and it was a damn blown fuse. He’s happy, new owner is happy and I got paid. Boat runs like a new machine now!

KISS check the simple things first. You did the right thing though by going back over what others had done.

Alaska is constitutional carry as well you can conceal there without having to get a permit and open carry.
