Well it is kinda crazy to spend 35k on something and not wonder where your MTS knob or locker button is? Or ask why does this OR have a skewp? Obviously not bought new. So what did the carfax say? Was it wadded up and repaired with a sport hood? Probably didn't ask about that either.

Late to the thread and haven't read through everything yet but I can tell you definitively that if you have a normal combo key (unless it's a manual) it is not a TRD. All TRD models, with the exception of the rare stick shift, have a smart key.

 

Has this always been a thing on 3rd gen or like power back window? Think I drove an auto before buying my mt that had the same key as me but was an offroad.

Mine says its a standard w/no factory options. I definitely have an automatic TRDOR with the tow package lol maybe someone was drunk when they inputted the data at Toyota.

 

I’m pretty sure all SR5s have H key like manuals do. No push button start on SR5

You are correct... sr and sr5 have a standard key.

TRD OFF ROAD has hood scoop, black fenders, digital a/c, TRD shift knob, led running lights, outlet in back of bed, most have colored rear bumper not chrome, remote start, 6.8 inch double din with GPS not "scout gps" link up, JBL speakers, chrome grill.

Some SR5 come with the scoop and fender flares
