Thanks, I'll look into that. I do have over 100k on them and it's seen a lot of dirt in the last few years. Gonna check when I get home today

i wouldn't use lock tight it eats up the oem zinc off the stud and will make them rust

Loctite prevents rust so it shouldn't really be an issue.

Nah I ran mine for a couple years and they said only to torque 12.5 mm studs to 70 ft lbs. w/o loctite. Checked them every tire rotation and never had one back off at all. Owner of the company told me in an email. Wouldn't loctite my lug nuts on my wheels either, but never can be too cautious - it for sure won't hurt you!

Before I start cutting other tubes for the B pillar. I want to get your guys opinion on the height of the middle bar. I’m planing on welding on tabs to hold the straps. So basically what’s the rule of thumb for the strap location?

Laugh all you want but it is a fuckton of work to get this far lil, bout word out the tape measure lol.... progress tho... next is locating the upper link mounts and building the wishbone...should be about 45-50% antisquat.... side note the second gen Tacoma is almost identical to a first gen tundra

Looks good from eyeball, make sure you got enough room to adjust the belts to fit you properly

Why wishbone vs two separate links?

Well a few of my friends did the wishbone setup and the trucks just seem to handle alot better and don't 3 wheel around corners, it's more cool factor I guess??, cheaper maintenance, and the fact that there's almost an identical Chinese blueprint in the driveway helps too lol. The triangulation kinda almost becomes a non issue as well since the upper links are one piece. You really only have to worry about antisquat and trying to give some angle to your trailing arms to help thwart link steer

Cool, I don't know much about either, you are just the first I have seen do wishbone on a tacoma so I figured I would ask. I think yours was the first J-Arm kit too though so I shouldn't be surprised. And yeah the 1st gen tundras and 2nd gen Tacomas are very much alike. My roof racks are pretty much a direct swap too.
