Smith Point sounds good to me. Although, I don't know if it would be too far of a drive for those coming from mid/upper NY (and if if anyone from NJ attends)?

Yes. I made sure to get the 4x4 beach pass for the summer, but it is for another vehicle for now. I'm not sure if they're done re-building the beach though (due to storm erosion). I was actually thinking of going to check it out tomorrow.

 

ill be there tomm....democratic point is open but u have to be there by 7am or after 5pm.....gilgo is open 24 hours

Saw quite a few Tacoma's out there yesterday... I think I saw you 'brutalguyracing' while leaving the beach.

 

mabye there was like a million people there yesterday....i was on the other side all morning and had it to myself......but friends came late and we had to go to sore thumb side....i left around 2ish

 

centralia pa run in 2 weeks? on sunday....how that looks, sunday the 13th or 20th?

 

I can see about the 13th, thats my bday so I am not sure that I am going to be able to get away though.....

Anybody get a recent recall on their Tacoma? I got the one about the mats but someone said there's one about a computer upgrade.

likewise .. i got one about the mats. i brought it in for them to re adjust the drum after the issue i had and they did the gas pedal to

 

Found out what it is. Along with the mat/gas pedal recall Toyota is offering to put in software that will bring the engine to idle if the gas and brake are applied at the same time. Looks like a cya move because of the law suits. I'm happy with how my engine runs so I'm opting not to get the software. Thanks for the responses.

 

Ok thanks. I don't need that either. Clutch or shift to neutral.
