I found a few repeaters but I haven't spent much time listening. Didn't hear anything immediately so I threw the whole thing out...

I don't know what cell service looks like throughout, but if you're using your phone for GPS, may want to download 'offline maps' for the area we'll be in as well. At least I know you can with Android/Google Maps.

Didn’t have time or the hardware to do a proper setup since I just got the rack and installed it last night.

In the meantime, I used a set of mounts from a Thule roof top carrier.

The plan is 1/4-20 threaded rod, nuts and washers into t-slot drop-in thingies.

I’ll use similar hardware to mount my traction boards.

If you have time and don't mind - I wouldn't mind a set just in case my ass oversleeps or something stupid. It does take me like 30 minutes to setup and tear down the tent... cause I'm short.. and can't reach....

Sounds like a good idea, as some may want to take a pit stop or just lag behind

I have some packing and shopping to do for this trip. I should probably get on that before it turns into a midnight walmart run

Never go during the day. Actually this was at 8:30pm on a Tuesday.. Self checkout lanes. The normal registers were worse

I NEVER go to self check outs! Call me old fashioned but I feel like it takes jobs away. Nevermind the fact that I have to do all the work myself and they make all the money. It sucks when you can't find anyone to help you if your shopping at a big supermarket or at Lowes etc, and you've got to find it all yourself.

    Whatever happened to customer service?

We don't have self checkout anymore...to many people were stealing.
