That’s bad ass James. I’m actually getting ready to retire the Taco from the trails and focus on the XJ.

The plan is to sell some heavy stuff off of the truck, buy a car trailer, and tow the XJ.

Nah, the Taco has reached its limit.

    Bed cage
    Skids
    Spare one piece DS
    CVJ axles
    Possibly the 35s
    Maybe the Softopper
Sliders maybe. They need to be cut off though.
    Some other misc spare parts

I haven’t taken anything off yet.

I have one of those for a short bed

This one doesn't have a floor, so you don't have to take out everything out of your bed to set it up, but then again you depend on a clean bed-'cause you know, you sleep in it. Lol.
Set up is just a few minutes, so is teardown, so if you're staying somewhere for just one night - no problem. If it's a few nights then you have to take it down during a day....

Softopper is no good for sleeping in a five foot bed.

Well, For you it would probably be fine...

Thanks for the info. I was thinking if it was a long weekend that we could stay at camp it wouldn’t be so bad.

I don’t really like the look of soft toppers and the tent would give me the extra leg room.

It's not all that bad, as it takes just a few minutes to tear down /set up. You would have to do it with rtt as well, but that's where similarities end, including the price, lol

    https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/...ent-15rgeufllszlngbdtcat/15rgeufllszlngbdtcat

I'm not going to use mine anymore I got myself a bedrack, so tent will not fit over it... So, if you want mine, we can talk about it, lol

Will it work with the factory tri-fold cover? I would still like to have the cover on just flipped back when we are in the tent.
