X2. I had enough of that crap, going through differential, integral, and vector was enough for me. The hell with all the math in mechanical engineering, im going for a BS in environmental science now. lol

    yuuuuuuup.

calc 3 is probably the easiest. it's calc1 just with another variable.

calc2 is not fun at all.

Oh yeah I did the whole series too (1,2,3) plus differential Equations and multivariable calc before I canned the idea of being a Electrical Engineer and decided to major in Economics.

yeah but I was much better at econ and business than I was at engineering... I basically struggled thru the last 3 math classes, physics, first few EE classes before I was like f-this college is suppose to be fun! I did 2.5 years as an EE major before I switched.

yep, thats where I'm at with mechanical engineering, end of my 3rd year and im officially switching now. Been splitting my classes this year between the two majors so i could make my official decision, I finally made it.

lmao, second semester sophomore year I was enrolled in both calc3 and diff eq.

dropped diffy q immediately after the first class. absolutely no idea what the hell went on during class, and the prof said something about it was going to be the easiest class the semester. that would have been a semester from hell if i took both of em.

damn how far did you get into the courses?

i got thru 4 semesters and figured out 1) i hated the schools I was at (don't get me started on their physics classes...) and 2) engineering is a WHOLE lot more thinking than doing. not really what i was after.

With where I'm at i'm basically a sophomore in either major even though I have over 100 credits. I took quite a few electives(like history classes, humanities, communications, and mfg classes like welding and machining) to ease the pain of the core engineering and math/physics classes, and luckily most of the classes i've taken will transfer toward the other major.

both of those together would have been hell for sure... I did find the diff eq was easier that calc 3 too me though... maybe because I wasn't taking physics 3 and an EE class with it
