Drop that down to ~21-22 psi. Also have you messed with your shock much? Being on a new bike, it might not be as dialed (sag/rebound) as a previous bike. Tire pressure might not be the only thing to look into. If your rebound is set too slow (or not enough sag) then it could impacted how planted you are going over terrain and in turns.

Local DH Park Windrock Bike Park had an Enduro Race this weekend that was an EWS qualifier. Richie Rude showed up and beat everyone by an entire minute...including two other factory sponsored riders.

    Pros are just that good

What travel fork is on there now? CRC has a clearance on the Manitou, great price and great fork.

Yep, missing piece. Suspension tuning. This is a new-to-you bike, and it's going to require some fiddling with suspension and tire pressure setup.
Find the baseline settings for the suspension, dial that in.
-My way of setting baseline air pressure in the fork is to ride on the street, then hit the front brake HARD, with my weight forward so that I endo a bit (careful not to go over). My sag ring should be within 3 fingers of topout.
-Rear shock sag should be 25%-30% sag, depending on suspension rate of the frame and preference. Not sure what the rate is on Yeit, I think it's falling, so I'd go with 25%, and make sure you have some spacers in the shock.
-Setting rebound is personal taste, but the baseline is to push in the fork/shock hard, let it come up. You want it to come up quickly, but not pogo. I tend to run mine a little slower, but bump it up on those super chattery rides.
-For tubeless presssure setup the go-to formula is rider weight / 7, then +2 for rear, and -1 for front. So if you're 180, then start with (180/7)-1 and (180/7)+2. Front 25, rear 28.

After all that, ride a bunch of different trails and experiment. New bike=new feeling. Takes me about 500 miles to feel comfy on a new bike.

120mm is what's on there now. Couple things on Pinkbike that have my eye but those guys on there never budge on their price. It's like they don't think anything depreciates.

Here's a Manitou, under $400. It's the 100mm, but I think it can be bumped up to 120 with token removal (super easy). It's the Magnum, built for 29, or 27.5+, but works just as well with 27.5.
    http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/us/en/manitou-magnum-pro-forks-15mm-2016/rp-prod134144

Or, a 160 Mattoc, which I think can be bumped down to 140, for $450.
    http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/...2-forks-15mm-crc-exclusive-2017/rp-prod158504

Both are stellar forks for the price, and have great performance, right under the Pike.
So basically, you can have the fork in 100, 120, 140, or 160. :)
Oh, and the Manitou have the IRT upgrade and HBO (hydraulic bottom out), which is like all those super spendy cartages on the market. Super easy to dial in the right progression to your suspension curve.

**Edit: Turns out you can't have your cake... The 100mm Magnum for 29/+ is only 80-100, and the mattoc is 140-160, but only fits up to 2.6 tires. Just noticed your bike is 3.0. :(

Its funny when you think you are a decent rider, then some of the pros or even semi-pro types show up and just put everyone in their place. Thankfully most are humble about it.

I was on a Crest ride shuttle last year with Cody Kelley. Managed to keep up with him across the parking lot, and that was about it. The minute we hit dirt, he just turned it on.

What's the word on the street about SPOT bikes? Looking at their Mayhem as a short travel 27.5+ bike. Looking at the Devinci Marshall and Pivot Mach 429 Trail in that tire size as well.

Local guy I know had one. I thing he’s had bearing issues and then a cracked chain stay. Didn’t talk to him much but seemed like he liked it!

It's a slick looking bike. Only thing I know about Spot bikes is singletracksampler on youtube busted a frame one of them coming down the whole enchilada a few months ago.

I knew he did that, but I also remember there being some sort of controversy over it.

One of my friends Tess (aka DustybettyMTB / TheMoreWeExplore on YT and IG) has one, and she seems to like it, not sure about durability issues though. I want to say I have heard reports of frame damage on a few though. Kinda spooks me.

LOL. Speaking in generalities, these days it seems like every bike either looks like a session if a DH, or a Ibis/Hightower if a midtravel. Seems like big enduro bikes are really the only place designs really differ.
