Not sure about NH, but when I visted VT a few weeks ago Shaw's had some really good instate firewood. Well seasoned and dry - burned fastttt but burned clean.

 

No one really checks, but Maine has indefinitely extended the out of state firewood ban cause of that shitty beetle. Not sure about specific camp sites caring one way or another though

I’m the same way. I’ll wait in line longer to have someone who works there check out rather than do self checkout. Don’t know why it matters to me though. Even though they are taking all these mindless jobs away the tech industry is only growing. The people mooching off the system will only grow.
I was at the McDonalds here and I walked past the self service kiosk to go to the counter and the guy told me he couldn’t take my order and I had to use the self service kiosk. Basically telling people to take his job.

 

I stopped going to any McDonald's that has that new system.

i mainly went their to get a coffee and use the wifi while running errands in the morning.

 

I honestly don't even remember the last time I ate at McDonalds. I know for sure that it was before they started taking cards, though.

Edit- I'm pretty sure I was still in high school, so it would have been '03 or earlier.

Don't think so. And even if they did, I was still counting my age by 1/2 years in the 80's, so I wouldn't have had a card in the first place.

Second day we are on our own but a little country store south of where we will be and little town just north so not a big deal getting wood

 

at least you werent counting in months. I am going to be that guy who tells people my kids age in months.. way past the time to switch to years. Make you do math
