Was really hoping it's wasn't Shimano on there so I could say the fox is acceptable but to get out with the Sram. No luck though. Nice rig.

This bike is temporary. Waiting for the Canyon Spectral to get restocked. Got too good a deal to pass up, really.

Yes. It's tight and a pain in the ass. I ended up turning the fitting a little bit on the reservoir to get things to line up better. It helped a lot.

    same shit as everyone else
How I installed my rear 2.0 Reservoir 985-24-117 Fox shocks on my 2016 SR5 V6 4x4 DCSB stock leaf springs.
Jacking the truck up by the diff and putting jack stands on both sides of the axle just did not work for me. These shocks have more travel and are not easy to compress.
I jacked it up from the diff and I made sure the jack stand on the frame was supporting the vehicle while the tire I was taking off was as low to the ground as possible without being on the ground.
I placed my other 3-ton stand under the axle in the appropriate spot and removed the tire and lowered the axle onto the other stand.
This allowed enough of a downward angle on the side I was installing to compress the shock enough to fit. I'm obviously not an expert otherwise I'd have a frame lift and this wouldn't be an issue.
Don't hurt or kill yourself. Oh and get 6 ton jack stands too.

The rear shock hose looks like it’s right on the shock mount, you might want to adjust that. Nice setup though.

How long did the stock coils take to settle for everyone? I just got an alignment (firestone lifetimes) so I’m gonna drive for a bit let them settle if they do then set height and get another alignment.

Mine went from a 4" lift (factory position from Fox) but that lasted less than 1 day. Settled to 3" and was there for about a week then settled to 2.5" then I adjusted it back up to 3" then added bumper and winch and it went to 2.5". So settled to 2.5" from 4" in about 1 week.

Was this on the stock coils or did you get the 650s installed?

Fronts are on as they come from fox with no height adjustment. I am at 22” driver and 22 1/4” passenger. These are the extended travel with DSC versions. So I got about 2” of lift. I was expecting this with my USOffroad bumper and winch, I have about 130lbs extra on the front. I’m gonna let them settle and then remeasure and adjust from there. I really want to keep these 600lb springs and if I can get 2.5” lift and keep the softer ride, then I’m good.

Really close but doesn't hit or rub.

About to test out the re-valve over the 4th. They come too soft for fast driving but ride like a Cadillac.

So far the 650 spring are only a little firmer than the 600 and I have a stock bumper and give a minimum of 2 or 2 1/4" lift. I'm running around 2 3/4" lift but with much less preload, less than 1". So with extra weight I would go straight for the 650s especially if you want more than a 2" lift..

Mine are really bouncy with the adjusters set to stock or backed all the way out. Fox says that’s the same as a none DSC shock. I wouldn’t call it a Cadillac, it’s soft but just way to bouncy and uncontrolled.

Mine is startung to ride like my stock OR suspension. On whoops on the highway it goes up and down and up and down and up and down.
Fox springs w/these CO/s are a friggen' joke.

Where are some good sites to order springs from? I’m eventually going to armor up and will need to upgrade, just planning ahead. :D

I wonder if its the coils or just the valving, a lot of people seem to complain about them being too soft even with heavier coils.

Good question. All I know is I wish I'd of gone w/a different CO. I feel I should be satisfied w/a $1,500 purchase & I'm not.
