Shit settle down at work over you not being able to control an oven? Manufacturing can be a royal pain in the ass at times.

Thanks, but I'm far from what I would call a welder, a hobbyist or more of an o-shitest at best. That's a great story, that will require some research. The olde timers were absolutely priceless.

Have them check the calibration on the oven. If they're going to beat you up over the oven it better damn well be in spec. If you're supposed to heat shit to an engineering spec it should be in a calibrated/certified oven, not a Betty Crocker Easy Bake Oven.

I dont understand how you get blamed for an oven that they own not working...but I know jack n shit about how to work something along those lines. Are you responsible for calibrating the thing or is that the maintenance dept?

Exactly. Typical bullshit, it went in the oven late so it's going to come out of the oven late. Let's beat up the poor bastard that got handed the part late...BRILLIANT.

Yeah, but I get to paddle whitewater which makes no sense to SoCal...but it's playing on the water.

You guys should check out Black Plague Brewing in Oceanside sometime, or Mason Ale Works in San Marcos. Obviously it would be a north county meet.

Black Plague is great! Been thinking about a meet up there for awhile. This week, errrr... tomorrow, has been picked for Coronado Brewing -

    Hope to see everyone there!

We'll get a north county meet set up soon

In case people were wondering about food there (since i always am worried about food) they have a little cart that sells pretzels but nothing substantial. there is however good eats around there on morena and old town is near by.

I'm game for a NC meet. Maybe we make that an alternating thing. so ever other week its mirimar or further south, and the other weeks its north county breweries. Thoughts?

The Morena location just recently installed a full kitchen and now sells pizzas, sandwiches, pretzels and other bar grub. However the address listed on page one is for the main CBC on the island, not the Morena location, which also has a full kitchen. Can we confirm which location so someone doesn't show to the wrong location? I know it's posted on page one, just don't want someone to miss it.

Dang I didn't even realize there were two.

Anyone know which location has better parking? The lot looks like it might be bigger off Morena, I've never been though. The one on Coronado I've never had an issue getting a spot within a block. :notsure:

They both can be hit or miss. The island has a lot in the back but it's only about 10 cars. Street parking can be tough depending on the day and time. Thursday shouldn't be to bad as I think we'll be after the dinner rush.

Morena has street parking and a small lot off to the side, maybe 15 cars. The area is mainly commercial so there's not much in the way of other vehicles in the evening aside from the brewery patrons.

My vote is for the island as I can walk home if I get drunk. Hahaha
