    I like to think of them as future spark plug receptacles. One thing with the new 1GR is the relocation of the oil filter. Toyota has gone with a cartridge type filter and it is located underneath the fan. Might be something you guys see on the next gen Tacoma's.

    Wow, thats a pain in the ass. Lots can go wrong there. I can see dealers selling a lot of these aluminum housing for the filter cartridge for customers who damage theirs.

    Plus this is much more of a mess.
