I should be over in that area this weekend. Currently thinking about spending Saturday night at/near Upper whitefish campground or over at Big Creek campground. Kinda just depends on what time I get started that morning. Will likely be taking Red Meadow road. So if you are out there and you see a built white FJ feel free to come over and BS with me.

Who’s in charge or setting up a trail run? I’m new to the area, and while I did it often back in Ca, I don’t want to wheel alone in areas I’ve never been.

Magic City and Rimrock 4x4 clubs go out a lot. I haven't joined them yet, a lot of jeepers but some cool older SAS toyotas in the group plus a few odds and ends too from photos I've seen.

Yeah I’m not a Facebook guy... I have checked them out though. Looks like good groups to meet up with. I also found another group 406 cruisers. But you have to pay to join their club.

I would be up this weekend but I have a busy weekend ahead of me with my rear relocate. I expect it to take a day if all grinding goes smooth.

If we do any organized group meets there's usually a planning thread on here - either in the regional section or offloading section. Haven't done one in a while but we've had a lot of folks join recently so many its time to get back to it

Are those 2.5 adjustable King’s? have fronts and rears on order. Probably another 7 weeks before they get in.

They are adjustable 2.0s with 12in travel. You are going to love them. Best most spent was on my front kings. Now I'll have rears instead of my hobo mix matched setup

Yeah this summer I’m mainly looking for day trips. My wife is pregnant with our second kid and she’s due August so I can’t be pushing her too hard with too many overnighters.

    Here we go again!
Being such a big state, it would be nice to know where everyone is from and planning to go. I live in the eastern part, Billings, and planning on camping up the Boulder River out of Big Timber next weekend, 6/29 if anyone’s up for it.
