When I get feisty I just mix Deep Eddies Lemonade Vodka with Deep Eddies Ice Tea vodka. Of course some people say I have a problem but I don't let them influence me and say screw em'. AA is for quitters.

Wait I thought Iced tea didn't have sugar in it anyways? If it has sugar, then wouldn't it be sweet tea? Wouldn't diet iced tea just be less calories? I'm so confused...

Note: I grew up drinking sweet tea only, so I always thought Iced tea was tea without sugar.

Tea with flavor such as peach is generally loaded with sugar, so they make a diet version that uses fake sugar.

Here in this NW corner of VA, you need to clarify whether your tea is sweet or un-sweet. If you ask for Iced Tea, you may get sweet at one spot, while you may get un-sweet at another. Personally I don't like sweet tea. It's just a sugar bomb.

Use to be, good shine was 100%, or no less than 190 proof. I think some liquor stores still carry Everclear. Bootleg is best for sure

I have a recipe for a fruity mixed drink using that too. I promise you will never taste the shine. You will only experience the buzz.

Well, in the beginning all tea was unsweetened. If your parents, or maybe even you have the small, longer, skinnier tea spoons, those are iced tea spoons. Which were introduced and offered with cutlery sets, to help stir the sugar, in iced tea.

I think the term "sweet tea" was established though in the southern states, and records indicate it originated in Virginia from a recipe of a woman originally from Texas.

These days I believe there are generally three types offered depending on where you are in the United States. Unsweetened, sweetened and sweet tea.

Wiki - it's not unusual to find sweet tea with a sugar level as high as 22 brix (percent weight sucrose in water), twice that of Coca-Cola.

I learned a lot about tea today. Thank you both.

Also, I have about a dozen tea spoons and they piss me off because the only use I have for them is to mix my whiskey and coke. Otherwise they are useless since I quit drinking tea.

I see that as an opportunity to drink more Jack and Coke Tyler. I'm always the glass half full guy..........as long as that half is alcohol.

I'm either full of shit or full of useless information. Either way is generally no benefit to anyone.
