    As an FYI for all of you with questions regarding dual battery setups and mixing battery groups. Here is OGEs Faq site that addresses these questions:

    Also, please correct me, but if you're running an OGE split battery tray I think a group 34 battery might be too short for their setup. It's almost an inch shorter than a 35 (which is what OGE runs) and I'm not sure the threaded area on their J bolts is enough to compensate for this.

    Food for thought on which group to select.

    Ok I need some help. I am running an Optima group 35 yellow top since I have a winch. But the top is cracking around the positive post so I needing to replace it. Should I stay with the group 35 with this battery also? Is anyone on this group buy buying a battery that has a winch? What battery are you buying?
