This isn't even true. Done "correctly" is in the eye of the beholder and depends on what you use it for.

If you want a pristine bro-dozer to go mall crawling with polished custom paint, chrome trailing arms, and dual shocks, yeah, do it "correctly" with a huge lift and don't trim anything.

However, if you want to do it "correctly" for off-roading, you'll want to minimize the lift in order to keep your CG as low as possible, which means some trimming and hacking.

Thats what happens when someone randomly starts up and old thread saying your opinion is wrong and my opinion is right...

    Calm the F down buddy

I believe you said "done correctly = no cutting"

I simply offered an alternative point of view to that statement.

If my response to your post is irrelevant, so is your post.

Yes that's a true statement, one of many, you said it wasn't. You offered an opinion while trying to dismiss another.. THAT is what makes your post irrelevant. Does my statement apply to the consumer or toyota?

You are welcome to disagree and I support that, it drives discussion, but thats not what you said.

Not to mention you completely ignored my first statement in that post about tires only not rubbing in a straight line on the driveway..or the point about going higher doesnt resolve the issue....

Move along before this thread gets locked.

All I meant was that it is not a "true" statement because "done correctly" is subjective depending on your needs/wants in a vehicle, which means there is no real "correct" way.

I didn't "ignore" the first part of your post. I didn't quote it because it wasn't relevant to what I said.

Quit trying to read my post like some personal attack.

Because you said it wasnt true then bascially said the same thing I did.

The whole point of the collective conversation was that there was no universal way of resolving it.

    ouy.

All I did was take that specific statement you made and expand on it.

Do you think I was calling you a liar or something?
