Yeah I've traveled all over the country and asked for sweet tea. Was at a restaurant in AZ I believe asked for sweet tea the waitress brought me iced tea with packets of sugar. I asked her how I'm supposed to make it sweet she said stir in the sugar. I said you do it since sugar doesn't really dissolve in cold beverages lol.

And in Pa, soda is called Pop, unless you want a flavored pop then it is just orange pop. Funny how things are different like that. First trip to Myrtle Beach (which is fantastic) and we stopped for gas and the place was selling roasted peanuts in a can, but the can was filled with seasoned water. I'll eat anything and did eat them, but that was odd as hell. That's one of my favorite things about traveling, discovering and learning different cultural differences. Especially food and drink.

Yea, I ate them, shell and all. Not much frightens me off.

 

I'll make them love em that or put salted roasted peanuts in a Coke yum!!! We call that the farmers snack

I like the intensity of blood pudding, and tripe reminds me of pigs feet knuckles.

 

Probably everything in there I eat or have eaten groing up in the south and being from a very rural family.

 

Yea, even though I grew up in Baltimore we were blue collar all the way. I learned early on that if you turned your nose up at something there was no second choices.

I'm introducing this concept to my kids, actually to wife + kids. She gives them all the f*%king choices and those punks are taking advantage of it. In the end it's really hard to have a "normal" meal...

 

I’ll take a Zima, with a cherry jolly rancher. Like a real man.

 

Used the fuel in my Jerry can. I try and use it every couple months to get fresh stuff in there.

Yea, it's definitely a different era of parenting nowadays. We were not fortunate to be blessed with kids but we do love them. I gotta give parents a lot of credit with all they have to endure raising kids these days.
