Living in georgia complaining about heat......................................................................

I honestly dont know what to say. Its hot.

It is a sealed system short of more airflow or even a mist on condenser there is not much else besides a small bit of insulation.

    I suggest acclimation.

Living in Georgia with a medical condition that I did not choose... :/

But I digress, back in Automotive School there was a coach who brought in all new parts that were "custom" he claimed, after we installed it his was arctic-ly cold. I'm talking like... it was IMPOSSIBLE to run it anywhere near maximum, it was ice cold. I'm not joking, the condenser froze over solid white and we were all like "Holy shit". I will try to find the old photo I have of the condenser.

Wait... maybe I am using the wrong term... might not of been the condenser, but either way I will find the photo of it being frozen over.

It's been years since then so I never knew if that was a normal thing you could buy.

frozen condenser is a symptom of other problems.

Well the pusher fan does help but not a ton. Looks like about 4/5 ish degree difference. Worth it for me especially offroad.

It's all good man, yeah I think I'm going to try to do the ceramic tint and The Pusher fan. I'm still going to have them check the system tomorrow just to make sure that it is in top condition.

Anyone else in Georgia recommend a tint place?

I’m sure you could install a higher CFM rated fan and get better results, but those are obviously more expensive. I will be doing more testing but I can clearly see the temp drop when I turn the fan on. It is 80 ish degrees out and it was idling with a vent temp of 54 Seems pretty high sill but better than the 60 I was getting before the fan

The pusher fan will not help at speed though! If your truck isn’t cold enough at speed you have a probably with the actual ac.

Mines freezing while cruising down the road.

Well see what I've noticed is that even when I'm driving in a straight line it'll kind of fade in and out, that makes me think that it it must need to be recharged.

Now for the fan I'm thinking about having it in a manual switch so I can just run it when I'm not cruising.

What CFM is the fan you're using?

Oh I do, I have one of those vacuum tumblers and I try to keep it full of ice as much as I can.

I wired it to a relay and switch.

You could wire it to a relay then your ac compressor so it would be on only when ac Is on

    Reserected from the dead.
I don't think it was the condenser that was froze over. You are thinking of the evaporator.

If the evaporator freezes, you do not have enough refrigerent or air flow.
