That's how it was in Georgia for me.. My basic at Ft Benning was mid summer too through July then my AIT was through December.
Walk outside in the am and soaked.. plus we had sand hill so that made it's way into in places you don't want sand

Ewww.. I had a buddy there a few years ago during the whole contaminated brown water they had in the barracks. Never got taken care of until some General found out

After getting out of Army and going CO Guard, we did our 2 weeks in Savannah, GA. I literally was sweating in the shower, my now Fat azz would probably die now.

I feel your pain. I did my readiness training at Ft. Benning as a civilian before I shipped overseas.

Actually, now that I think about it, I have written off the whole East Coast and the south. I can't stand humidity.

Yea man! We do love it here. Spent most of my twenties in the middle east or a desert somewhere. Did 3 years in CA around Death Valley before we headed back to the east coast to sell our house and get the hell out of there.

We settled on CO about 20 days before we closed on our house. Best decision we ever made. :woot:

I have a dilema, do I get two 6v batteries for about $530 or a single group 31 12v battery for $180? This will be for the RV living off grid

    I've got bad news y'all.

Grey clouds heading your way. Good news is they make one hell of a lightning show for me and neat looking clouds. :D but hopefully they don't get all cumulonimbus on you flat landers.

How far was the front range from me distance wise before the mountains were formed? I'm guessing you might've been project manager on that job.
