Curious if you (1) have done something like this before, (2) have the means (tools) to do a job like this and (3) would be willing to do the job and what it would cost.

Just asking around now. Please don't feel obligated to. I understand people are busy with life etc.

 

1) I did an SAS and rear axle swap in my garage
2) see above. Not a full aresenal but enough to be dangerous lol
3) what's the job? Would not charge as it would be my way to pay it forward to fellow TW member/Toyota enthusiast.

Issue would be time as i am getting murdered at work.

There was an episode of truck night where a woman got stuck in this "huge" mud pit and deflated her tires that way. Funny thing was they just put BRAND NEW tires on the rig during the show's dedicated shop time. And she didn't even win!! Wonder if she had to pay for the rubbers..

SEXY!!!!!

 

Weekend was pretty crazy. Did a lot. Did a lot outdoors. Lots of sun.

Saturday was the local offroad shop's meet and greet.



Lots of cool rigs, really diverse. Confirmed now and forever that the wife definitely wants a 4R, lifted with wheels and tires.

After we got home, she started looking up modded 4R's, friend requesting IG accounts and 4R pages etc etc...she's got good taste

My brother won "best built Toyota" and won a Tepui duffle and a monsoon bag.

Overall, had a blast, met a lot of awesome people, sold my stock rear bumper to a local guy who needed a cheap solution after he duffed his. He cleaned it up and paint matched the chrome bumper himself. I think it came out great!



Sunday we went to Road America in Elkhart Lake WI for the Indy race. Saw a lot of sweet and awesome cars, but the booths and the parking had a lot of cool rigs too:













I think next year we need to camp out at the race over the weekend and show them all up!!

I wish I knew you had a battery cage for sale I would have talked to you about it. I committed myself to another one a couple of weeks ago I'm just waiting for him to get his dual battery stuff together.

 

I honestly forgot about it until 2-3 days before the meet

I'd happily ship it out if anyone else is interested and wants it. Don't need it anymore.
