The first time I ever took a load to the Frisco Bay Area was 1993. I wound up lost and on the Oakland Bay Bridge, which goes over to where the homos are.
The second time I went was 1995. Again I wound up lost and on the Oakland Bay bridge.
Fast forward to today. The third time I took a load to the Bay.
    Yup.
I wound up lost on the Oakland Bay Bridge.

Well seeing how you know what pan rabbit is, AKA Pannhaas...

I also like the Southern version, livermush. Even though you start with first you split the head in half and pick out the brains and eyeballs in both. But I also have a fondness for the extra cornmeal in the Southern varitey

Damn I am going to regret this in the morning.

But I know what your saying.. And do not disagree.

Must have been early 80's taking 101 down from Washington State to Alameda when I got orders to the Coral Sea. And I will just leave it at that....

As much as I would like to add a truck load of Likes to it.

This is a salt cedar root wad. No discernible stump, just a mass of roots and the "trees" are just off-shoots.

You probably could. It'll take a year or two to dry out enough. The way it is there it has a lot of dirt and rocks in it. About the best I can describe it, those are like those packs of dry noodles, just not as dry and not uniform at all. As it dries it'll break apart into smaller chunks and more individual pieces. But it'll put out some heat when burning.

Of course there isn't a fire ring big enough to put it in.

108 today. About the same for tomorrow. Close to 115 for Friday. It'll make your Yeti mug seem like a red solo cup if you leave it in the sun.

As of now I don't plan on being at work Friday (but that could change), Saturday the wind is supposed to crank back up to mid-20 mph range with temps back in the high 90's.

I still think that whole area should be turned into a nuclear testing grounds. You couldn't pay me enough to drive through there. I think the last time I drove through was around 93 also. That was it.
