I’m originally from Georgia and I hate when people tell me I should be used to the humidity. While that might be true, doesn’t mean I fucking like it. Hate that shit. SLC in Alabama in August and September. No fucking thank you either. Sure the hell didn’t enjoy that.

Only reason I would move back to the south is cost of living after I retire from the army

Anyone know where I can properly dispose of a quart of used acetone? I’m betting the fishies won’t like it if I dump it down the drain.

Throw it on a fire for a grand finale.

Or hold onto it for a hazardous material day.

I did A school there too. During hurricane season. That sucked. Then got stationed in NC. If I didn’t have to go back there for work I’d never touch the south again.

That's how I got my RTT. Some user on here who lived in GJ organized a group buy from Wincar or something like that. We had to get 10 tents shipped to fill up the container. While my tent only cost about $450, we had to pay for shipping and such from the factory. All in I payed about $850. It's been 4 years or so since I put it on my truck. Tent is holding up fine but the runner on the zipper is shit. It's a real struggle to get it to zip shit.

The only difference between my tent and a Tepui is customer service. If you buy the marked up tent you can deal with someone in the US. I don't have any expectations of getting a new zipper from the factory in China.....

It's not stamped on the front of the runner, but it might be on the back. The zipper is just undersized for the tent. I think my high school backpack had the same zipper on it. It's just not meant for something so large and rugged

Similar deal with Waypoint RTTs through @ChandlerDOOM

But he orders them in a decent quantity... not his first rodeo with them so he is able to offer a 1yr warranty through the manufacturer, orders an extra or few just in case something turns out to be broken on yours so it can be swapped out on the spot. AND hand delivers them to you. Good quality tent... I stole one from @kashtyaatsi a while ago and need to get it mounted up and back to him one of these months. Hard shell is light years over the soft shell IMO. Literally can pull into a spot and be lying in the deployed tent within 5 minutes.. I've done it.
