They went pretty quickly, too. I think it was a couple of days and it only took me a few hours to convince my parents that we needed another kitten so I drove an hour and a half or so to pick her up and she purred the whole way home.

When I took our cat Kink to the vet after adopting her for a check up she was like "beautiful cat..." *lifts tail* "oh cute little hemorrhoid too" xD that's cool your vet knows your cats by name. Hopfully mine wont have to for a long while haha. She's only ever been out for that check up and a microchip. She gets real shaken up in a kennel. She starts shedding and her nose starts running everywhere; it's awful.

 

We have a Bella actually Bellatrixgrey the death eater.

 

My cat was Bellatrix the Black. She was named after a Death Eater but she was never evil. Well, except to everyone in the world who wasn’t me.

I was on the stationary bike at the gym while reading the comic section and ended up tearing one out. "Arlo & Janis" by Jimmy Johnson brought back memories of Bubby, giving me a good chuckle. This was so like Buddy ==>

 

Good evening everyone! I have held out for three days but I’ve decided I have to ask. How is Suki doing?

You’re Too funny!!! Like I said before, I have to resist the urge to update as I can only imagine there are people who follow this thread who don’t want to hear about the Suki saga on a daily basis. But since you asked... Suki seems to be physically healing well except the wife caught her pulling out 1 of her staples. It was the highest up 1 so no harm. Her spirits are a little down since wife and her mom left to Chicago for their annual vacation. She really misses her mama! Still eats just a tiny bit still so she gets fed about 4x a day. I feed them at 4:30 before leave for work, cat lady comes at 8 and again at 1. I get home about 5:15 and gets fed again. It’s stressful not having my wife home to keep an eye on her but just have to get through 1 more day- off on Friday. Staples should be coming out on Friday as well. Fingers crossed the vet gives her a clean bill of health. Thank you again for checking in and caring.

 

Thanks for the update! That all sounds pretty good. Well, except for your wife being gone.
I think I may have already said it, but I’m sure she’ll feel much better once the staples come out. Hang in there and I’ll be hoping, just like you and all her concerned friends here on TW, that she does get that clean bill of health on Friday.
