I just bought a set of Fox 2.0 with clickers off a TW member selling his ~3,000 mile old set.

 

Thanks. I was all hype to turn @scott96929's set into my own franken-build but @Rextinkleton93 and the other shock gurus brought me to my senses that it was gonna be a bit of a pointless endeavor.

There was a good deal here on TW and after the close-call on those OZ Rally wheels and taking a deep look at the finances I realized I could swing this set for now, but I just gotta pinch pennies otherwise. Not ramen territory.

Since guns have been a topic of discussion today, I thought I'd post up a pic. Just picked this up for the little lady today



It's a special edition factory engraved Ruger

$13 sp101 CRL "sparkle" cleaner and stain remover - 8 oz. bottle

sp101 .357 mag. sweet looking little piece of steel. I can't wait to shoot it. I might have to steal it back from her.

 

Nice looking piece. They did some really nice engraving at the factory!!!

 

I agree, you can definitely tell that it's laser engraved, as opposed to done by hand, but it's done really well. The guys at the shop were giving me shit about wanting an engraved revolver, but today they said they had to admit that it's grown on them while it was having the night sight, grips and trigger job done. All I know is my wife was smiling when I handed it to her so as long as she likes shooting it then mission is accomplished.

 

I read that entire thread and I’m baffled as to why they got banned. I mean seriously, it was some just plain funny shit and good fun. Some people are more sensitive than my 15 year old daughter that wears a hoodie when it’s under 90 degrees. Sheesh.

 

Yeah when I met Josh a few weeks ago in person he basically told me the same thing, that if I wanted have any real fun around here I should probably do it in the AZ forum because every one here is an asshole and can handle their shit without getting butthurt. Good advice apparently.

Sometimes a thread title catches an eye on the landing page. In this case, that happened to me and I was gearing up to be genuinely helpful until I saw that dudes Avatar of him wheeling a built OG pickup, yet, six broken lugs later and talking about cutting his fucking wheels off, Red thread locker on wheel studs, etc. I genuinely thought it was a troll thread and stated as much because once again I didn't think I could see a new level of stupidity in the world. Then the Mods followed me here and started squashing every post from me, no targeting at all. It was a huge dick move on their part, handsdown. No warning, no real good reason on any of the ToS conditions why I was reply banned and having posts deleted. I wasn't shitting on the dude, I genuinely asked if he was fucking with us because I didn't want to waste time trying to help someone who is lying.

So, you're cool with being tip toe Joe around here? Why? What does it really offer besides a convenient rally point for in person events? Received any good tech or general info lately from anyone but the local guys here? I haven't.
