OK. I have nothing real great to put out there since earlier. I broke off a bit in the possibly last hole so I am not sure how that is going to make the rest of the process go. I am pretty frustrated right now. I did go try and get the hole saw to try that technique but the smallest one they had was not small enough. I guess I will get up in the morning and start hitting it again after letting it all soak in. I realized it was time to quit after spending 20 minutes drilling on the stud that had the one nut that actually came off. :anonymous:

Ill get it. Im close. Just need some more time.

I appreciate all of yalls input very much. It is pretty crazy how many people have offered their suggestions and motivation. Yall are great.

I will still chug that beer...

I couldnt find one at Lowes and Ace was already closed. I may try to go in the morning to look but I have friends flying in town early and so the old lady will be gone with the car going to pick them up since I cant. I am very intrigued by the idea after seeing how they look now.

3/4" os the smallest that they had and that would eat right into the cone seat of the wheel. I need a 1/2" I think. Maybe Ace will have it.

Great job keeping a positive attitude OP. I would have pushed that truck off a cliff by now and started a new build with the insurance check....

If the jack fails maybe the impact will break the nuts loose that are barely holding on...

You need to turn one of those spacers into some kind of "art" like you did with this......

BIRFMAN! I still have that guy hanging out in the back yard. He will be with me forever. Thats about a $700 statue aside from what my time costs (which is pretty damn expensive) changing all those bastards out. Sad part is I probably could have built several of those back in the day..... bitch

I just realized that's from when I came up and got the 79 Waggie. I noticed the oil in the pic.

One of my favorite tools. Wear hearing protection if you go that route, they can be pretty loud.
