Graeme delivered mine to me at my work this evening. Did the install in the parking lot. Hate to sound like a broken record here but I can definitely vouch for this thing being even more impressive in person, and that’s saying a lot because I had pretty high expectations!
Overall quality and craftsmanship is outstanding. I haven’t spent much time at all with the camper yet but just off the bat I could tell the amount of thought and real world expertise that went into the design of these things. I can’t wait to start camping and using the camper on a regular basis starting this weekend.

And I can’t say enough about Graeme’s customer service. I mean, he hand delivered my camper to my work, so right when I got off we could install it. He went through all the in’s and out’s and answered all of my questions. You don’t find customer service like that anywhere. You can tell these guys are passionate about the product and it shows.

Me tambien..I head up Saturday for Bozeman for mine..have a little over a 2k mile trip but it'll be worth it.

 

How much time off work will you have? Knock out the drive there in two days and leave time to enjoy the new camper on the way home.

 

Like minded for sure..I got a few days off..looking to check out a little of Nevada, a little of 395 on the way back.

 

That was actually my plan too. Was planning to take a week off and road trip up.. Then Graeme and Wiley had to ruin it all and deliver it to me...

Does anyone know the bottom width dimensions of the go fast (at truck bed)?

 

That's what will vary truck to truck. Hence the customization for each truck by model/manufacturer. It's measured from the inside width of bed rails, but I would put money on them centering the weather seal/pipe to middle of bed rails. Pipe is 1.5" last I checked, so should have two exterior widths for interior/exterior of camper tube shell.

 

That will vary truck model to truck model, not truck to truck (pretty sure that’s what you meant)

So does anyone know the outside width for a 3rd gen truck? (Same frame as the 2nd gen)

 

On tacomas the inside dimension is 57". We set it up so that the tangent face of the tube is flush with the face of the utility track.

 

Outside width is 60".

We don't recommend lock washers on anything as they don't work well. Mostly they don't work at all. For the bolts that hold the tent on we use blue loc-tite when we assemble them and recommend that you do the same if you take them loose. Also, as someone else has pointed out, they do thread into aluminum so you need to be careful when tightening. They can be repaired with keenserts if they get stripped but that's a pain in the butt, so be careful.

So even though they the panels can certainly be removed/replaced, we didn't design that to be a regular occurrence. If you really get after it off-road we recommend you check the bolts regularly for tightness. With loc-tite they shouldn't loosen at all, but it's never a bad idea to check critical fasteners from time to time

Nope. But we did keep it simple. Every bolt is a 5/16-18. A lot of the hardware (fasteners and components) is difficult to source in metric.
