Hi guys, so I have been researching everything under the sun and every time I think I found what I need I come across something else that would suit me better!

My original plan was to get a tonneau soft cover and put the Hi rise roof racks by KBVoodoo on them.

Then I came across a $300 softopper on craigslist...

Then I started looking into the camper shell..

Then I started looking at the Avid 3 bar or 2 bar with cargo carrier...

Lastly, I've decided I need input from you all to make my final decision.

    So here's my question:

    1. Does one really need a tonneau cover? Most things I put in the bed wouldn't be covered by the tonneau anyhow. Does the tonneau protect the bed or anything? I already have a bed mat.

    2. What's the easiest to remove/install 2 bar or 3 bar setup, and will it work with a tonneau cover?

    3. Would you get more use out of a 3 bar or 2 bar with cargo carrier?

    4. For hauling motorcycles, what's the best way to put them in a short bed Tacoma? I have a KTM 300EXC (231 lbs dry) and a Yamaha R6 (366 lbs dry)... I didn't want to put too much stress on the bed.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I need to buy something so I can get back to work and not drooling over Tacoma set ups lol
