    no.

Most have a built in reciever anyways. The stock one gets sandwiched with the stock bumper and no aftermarket one does that. I think there was one at one point..might have been an early ass allpro one.

lol I think it was always on topic:

    Q. What have you done to your Tacoma today?

    A. Nothing, but talked about doing nothing to it, so that's something...

Okay that is what I thought. I tow relatively often and no aftermarket company ever gives a tow rating for obvious reasons. Thank you for info.

4xi has some that are officially rated. I've never had issues towing with mine and my dad has towed some serous shit with his plate bumper. The bumpers are built more heavy duty than any of the class 3 hitches Ive owned. I wouldn't worry about it.

Oh, theres a fine line in there somewhere though. Like I don't think setting a deadline for myself will do anything but damn am I motivated to get some shit right when there's another trip coming up. Like I really want to get some of my camp lights set up and get my axle changed out. But I don't really have any impetus to do any of it right now cause the next trip for me is in like Sept haha

Shhh you're harshing my chill lol

No I got you. I've just stressed myself out over money, time, expectations of myself, etc. to the point where I realized it's not helping me go any faster. But the motivation of a trip or solid deadline is great when you have all the resources you need. It just got to be overwhelming when I was always one part away from what I needed to get done and feeling bummed out about it - to that I say F-it lol.

I get that, that was me last summer putting my pile of a truck back in one usable piece. What you're doing is not easy work and it's gonna all pay off, stressing just means you'll have to go back and redo shit so don't stress. I just told myself I'd do at least one thing per day even if it was tiny and stupid because it was still one less thing I would need to do as the deadline came up.

You're right - there's always something to do even if it's not the exciting big projects I tend to focus on. I'm getting a few last things out of the interior and giving it a final wipe down before it's time for sound deadener.

While you got it that torn down are you going to spruce up the HVAC? Haven't been following your build too closely with that one, but I wouldn't be surprised if you removed every bolt and cleaned them all lol. I'm almost there myself lol.

Never occurred to me to refurbish the HVAC. The blower motor was dead when I bought it, and I managed to replace it without removing any trim.

You’d be surprised to learn the A/C blows ice cold. I couldn’t believe it myself.

I might to the heater core while I’m in there. I haven’t tested the heater yet.

Do you even need a heater in CA? Lol I know it'll hit the 60s every now and then but hell I'm in shorts and a T-shirt with the windows down once it reaches 40.
