I guess I should have been more specific - I replaced some of that old weak sealing foam between the pieces of the ducting and cleaned off a lot of junk blocking airflow between the blower motor and the AC evaporator.

Fair enough, @BartMaster1234 hasn't taken that truck off the pavement though so I don't think he does many snow runs :boink:

You know thats a lie lol. We all been there, ok a lift kit and bigger tires and it's done. *Some time later* the truck has a new bumper, winch, supercharger, LT, snorkel, 35's, fridge, lights every where and there you are staring at the computer looking at a SAS kit.

I do it as well. I change oil every 3-4k and most filters are 20k filters so even after 2 changes I still haven't reached half of its supposed life.

Huh. The more you know I guess. I run dino juice so I put on a new Napa Gold or OEM filter every 4-5k along with Castrol GTX 5w-30.

I only recently started doing it, mainly as a time saver, I could care less about the $6 lol. Hell as long as there is some type of oil these trucks will work fine it seems.

I change the filter about every time as they usually run a deal. "Buy a jug of oil and get XYZ filter for free"

I found the cheap oil change is 5 qt Castrol oil from Home Depot for $16. And a filter from Napa or the Dealer. $23ish and like 25 mins in my driveway.

Absolutely need a heater here. Once it hits 60 degrees, how am I supposed to keep warm in my t-shirt, shorts, and sandals?

In all seriousness, the SF Bay does get pretty cold. Your definition of “pretty cold” is debatable. Cold to me is 30-40 degrees when the windshields start frosting and icing over in the winter.

The coldest thing I have ever held in my life is a Tacoma steering wheel in the middle of the Winter.

This is excluding San Francisco of course. San Francisco is its own little microclimate. I love watching the tourists from Southern California with their t-shirts and shorts and end up freezing over because they assumed all parts of California are the same.

There goes a saying: “The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.”

I have two wheels off the pavement, it’s clearly off-roading.

Everyone got our of their cars and started clapping behind me because they were so impressed with the sight they were beholding, clearly.

It was an access road next to a bridge with no outlet, so not much traffic unless you have business being out in the marshland.

BMW seats, OME Suspension, CBI and NWTI plates front and rear, 13,000 winch, LED light bars, Ham Radio, topper with roof rack added, stainless exhaust, 2nd battery, inverter, sound deadener
OME suspension installed. OMG what a difference. No more bouncing like a pogo stick, took away the wallowing in the turns, axle wrap is gone, and the bumps are absorbed!! Even found and fixed an annoying rattle that I have had forever. Magnaflow exhaust pipe was pecking against the mud flap bracket. Sitting a little high in the back, but expect it will level out in a few days of driving. Thank you Wheelers!!! And thank all of you guys for giving me the inspiration!! Truck is just the way I want it, with the exception that I would like to have an ARB bumper and winch for the front. But am holding out to find a bargain on those. They are just wants, not needs.

Yep, people's definition of cold sure can be different. Personally I like it best when it's in the 20's. Still warm enough that you can be comfortable, but cold enough there is no mud. I hate mud. I grew up in Arizona, I know what hot is like. I've had plenty of hot. When it's cold you can always put more clothes on, but you can only take so many off before it gets awkward.
