    I'm leaning towards exo cage for my prerunner. 1) Creates roof rack space for chairs and ez up, etc. 2) easier to build (no interior removal), 3) If I don't like it I can cut if off and be back to stock. 4 and most important) In a DD I don't feel the interior cage is the safest in a street accident. I only want roll over protection for my family, not end over end where I should have worn a helmet and not been stupid anyway.

    I was thinking about eventually making a removable exo rack that could go over a camper shell or soft topper, but ties into a bed cage for more strength than the ones I see that just bolt to the bed rails. I drive like an old man so a whole cage probably won't ever happen on my truck unless I have a midlife crisis and start listening to Slayer 24/7.
