I say this to my wife all the time whenever she says "I'm cold."

You can always put more clothes on...I can only take so much off.

I just passed an electric final at a different job. The electrician wasn’t finished when the inspector showed up and he threw a fit. We’ve been waiting four days on average for their asses, so I called it before we were ready. I argued with him and got him to inspect it with cover plates uninstalled. I got him so flustered that he missed that the stove outlet was behind the Sheetrock, the gas line not grounded, and 3 lights not installed. We’ll be done about 2 hours after passing.
The electrician is buying me lunch now, he can’t believe I got the inspector to pass us. :)

I think the simple fact that the city electrical inspectors are so "news famous" right now that any time they can get smacked on their response times they succumb to guilt.
Believe me, there would be more complaints about me being shirtless than YOU being shirtless.

Arguing with city about the stairs in between arguing with the inspector at another job. I just won the argument about the stairs, so we can continue framing. Arguing and winning seems to be a cure for irritability.

What I ment was at least y'all don't have to deal with people staring at you when shirtless. I for obvious reasons can't

He tried to blame people(me) calling in inspections when they aren’t ready for the backup, he’s new. I pulled up the Kvue article on the electric inspectors getting fired and causing the city to be behind. He was nice after that.

The hardest thing about remodeling is dealing with the client, the city is second, and the heat third.
