If all else fails and you have to resort to ruining this rim, maybe try a hot solution of alum to dissolve the stud from the rim. Heck it might not even damage the wheel.

That may be outside my area of expertise. If I ruin this rim though, its going to be by driving it and waiting on the wheel to fall off.

 

If you get to the point where say fuck it in regards to saving the wheel, then there are better ways. I’d take an angle grinder with a 6” cutting wheel and just start cutting that bitch into little bits and pieces.

 

I've never tried the alum solution myself, but it appears to be a trick to dissolve broken taps and bits. Might be worth a Google while sitting on the shitter.

Don't know if rolling it back and forth in the driveway will do much unless there really isn't much left on the threads. Need some outward pressure on the wheel, what about a sledge hammer and cable attached to the wheel, like removing a stubborn half shaft axle

Possible to remove the spindle, torch the brake rotor off and grind the back of the studs out?? Depending on how expensive your wheel are that might work. if your willing to trash your rotors.

 

That's like wrenching 101. I learned the most by f**king up so much shit working on my bikes and trucks. We've all been there, good old social media and all its toxicity. Back to helping OP find a solution. Sorry for brief thread jack.

I think there is very little holding the thing on at this point. Just need to weaken the wall of the nut until it lets go.

 

I'm late to the thread but have you thought drilling it and tapping it with reverse threads? or use a normal tap and loctite a bolt on there so you can reverse it off. I've had to do that on a few bolts with the heads rounded off. Good luck man, I know how it feels to be in that situation and having it as your daily driver too
