What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

It provides a seamless skid to past the oil pan. However, the oil drain plugs are in different spots so that skid would have to come off in order to change oil on a 2nd gen. But to answer your question, I don't believe its any longer.

However, it is longer than just using a front trd skid. The TRD OR had a second skid that protects the oil pan, this wouldn't be longer than both.

 

My opinion, get the black caps and keep the side emblems. Perhaps consider blacking them out.

Some goodies arrived

 

Did some maintenance on my newly acquired truck. Changed front and rear differential fluid and transfer case fluid. Flushed brake fluid (I was pleasantly surprised I could access all 4 bleeder screws without having to take off the wheels), greased drive shaft zerks, changed cabin filter and checked air filter.

 

Nice- that's what I'm thinking for my next tire size. Except with stock fenders

 

Be ready to cut haha. We cut 2-3” on all 4 corners on my truck.

 

Hopefully my 265/75 tires can last 3 yrs when trucks finally paid off. Then it's on to the dirty fives!

 

Gave Snowblind another bath and a second coat of wax on the hood and roof . Did a little interior cleaning but still needs vacuuming!

It's amazing how many people in tiny cars will tailgate my truck. If I hit the brakes its gonna hurt them more than me.
