those are pretty good, especially when they just come out of the steamer

 

ahaha yeh. luckily no stitches for me *knock on wood* im sure there has been a few times i probably should have gotten some though... guess im stubborn and didnt want to go to the hospital. super glue and duct tape fix everything!

need your guys' help real quick. Im bringing a new puppy home friday. IT has been over 9 years since I had one in the house. cant remember if im forgetting anything.

so far i have:
food
cage
collar
leash
a few toys
and gates to keep her in the kitchen.
food bowl

am i missing anything?

When I brought my dogs home I would always make sure I had rawhide bone. That kept them busy for a while and kept them from chewing on other things. Make sure you have lots of patience. My one dogs would pee in the house 2-3 times a day for over a month. I was about done with her, then she suddenly she stopped peeing.

 

yeh its gonna take a few days to get used to having a pup again. I saw her yesterday and immediately became aware of the razor sharp teeth puppies have. I will make sure i bring a rawhide. i generally have a lot of patience with the pups so I am good there. we will probably keep her in the kitchen during the day and let her roam the house when we are home. most likely she will be in her crate until shes a little older. shes 7 weeks right now.

thanks! it should be fun. will probably be a little difficult until we get her used to everything. she was rescued at 2 weeks old and was super thin and really dirty. Shes got her last de-worming next friday. Shes an Australian Shepherd mix. not sure what else she has in her but we are planning on doing the agility training with her. Should be pretty fun and she already knows how to sit. Very smart pup. Im excited to take her and my other dog to the park and run them around. possibly pick up a few chicks while I am at it. This is my first rescue pet, so far so good.
