It stunk up a big portion of the ship. Did not smell like chicken. I had to appear at the court marshal of the dud who turned power on even though it was properly tagged out.

It will be hot, and there was no interest so I am doing my brakes tomorrow (Friday) and made other plans for Saturday.

I am but a humble servant of the the current ;) Since we’re telling electrical stories, I figured I’d chime in. Had a big power outage on our system early one morning that I responded to. Rolled up to a severely barbecued dead tweaker that was trying to steal copper off of one of our pole-mounted voltage regulators. Got hit with 24,900v and 2,500 amps of short-circuit current. Guy’s body was so burned up that at first I couldn’t tell exactly what it was. Closest I could compare it to was a thanksgiving turkey left in an oven set to broil for 2 months. Did that much damage in 5 seconds. I’ll never forget that smell, indescribable.
