Hello guys, I’m new here to Tacomaworld. Anyways reason for my post is because I like to know if these Tacoma comes with just a SD card or multiple?

I found a SD card (E A, back code is 185 ~) on my passenger side seat this morning, thought my kids pulled it out from the enfotainment slot, but I open it up to put it back, and found that there’s still one in there. I checked the manual and every site I could to see where it may have fell off from(since my kids denies touching anything in the truck), with no luck.

If anyone could help, much is appreciate.

    Thanks.

Ewww, someone got a free nav upgrade card from the factory.

They are going for $120 or so on FleaBay

My guess is that a tech dropped it in the car, there’s nowhere else those go.

Maybe his kid took it out of a car at the dealer when they were truck shopping... ;)

So the “E A” Card is in the slot and Navi works.

This one is with my original card (E E) in the slot and the “E A” one out. And both works.

The 0E185A SD Card is a more recent update so you should use that one. As suggested I would sell the other one on eBay, they sell quickly if you price it right. Toyota should be coming out soon (if they haven't already) with the latest update, 0E186

Has anyone tried copying one? Just curious if they are able as a backup.

You can’t replicate the hardware ID on the sd card, doesn’t work. Best option would be to use an official card but old SW version, and dd a newer SW version to the old card. That may work, but I don’t think you’ll ever get a non oem sd card to work.

Or you could just buy mine at a discounted price, I don’t want to go through eBay and their fees.
