Installed Subaru kicker tweeters today...

It was quite painless, although hot in my South Alabama garage. Hence, no pictures to document the swap.

The paper was so poor sounding. Even my wife noticed the difference in sound quality.

 

MPG

This vehicle keeps surprising me. Amazing what happens when I do not use cruise control.

 

Today after work a co-worker and I were looking under the hood...


Did I see an oil cooler? I have the towing package and we saw the transmission cooler.

I will add pictures soon. To describe it, there are short black coils and two lines running toward the passenger side of the engine.

My MPG is consistently getting better, only have 600 miles on the clock, I thought without the lip the MPG would tank but haven't noticed a drop at all. Thanks for the bolt warning Ron, I haven't experienced any whistling yet but will re-install the bolts anyway.

 

Is the 65MPG clocked flying downhill?

 

I need the TRD Pro exhaust first then comes the real skid plate. Thanks!

 

The lock is pretty well hidden above the spare tire so don't worry about road grime.

 

I don't think that’s really the case. I think more and more people are just annoyed at the fact that him and his crew can’t keep their mouth shut and look the other way. Why they have to always put down others is besides me. If they are that unhappy with what goes on here on TW, then remove yourself. Nobody needs anybody to stick around that’s going to be like that. His comments and other comments made by a few others are just getting old. Think the guy has a nice truck and some helpful knowledge, but enough is enough. I think he’ll be happier off of TW anyways. There are other social media forums he can do what he was doing anyways. Seemed like he was just making comments to make comments knowing he would get banned. Just to draw more attention. Grow up.

That's a new one on me, do not think it happens here. I've never much liked it but my sombrero is still there...just got tracking info on my devil horns emblem. Now if that thing got gone, I'd be mad but I do have a dash/security cam that sends me text alerts and I can live stream views inside and/or outside of the truck.
