My 7 year old 2012 TRD DCSB has scratches across the top edges of both headlights. I started noticing the scratches around 2-3 years ago and they have gotten worse over over time. The truck is garage kept at night and looks almost new except for these scratches . If you notice by the pics they are only on the headlight lenses. None on the paint or hood seal. Anyone have or seen the same problem? Any ideas what might be causing them? Beast? Space Alien? Road debris? Hyper Speed? As Ludicrous speed is only an option on the Pro. A pissed off EX would have at least took a key down the side.

Battery been changed and so have the cursed 2012 Air pump and valves. That and routine oil changes. Nothing else, still running great on the original plugs. That could explain why no scratches on the hood (it was up). But the scratches look too even for a belt or zipper. Plus why no scratches on the nose paint above the grill?

I bought the truck new. Hand wax it twice a year since day one. (Meguire's Ultimate) And I use Mequire's Ultimate spray wax at-least once a month to touch-up in between waxes.
They were not there the 1st few years.

Cats? I have not hit one single cat and sent him flying over my headlights ever. I swear I haven't.

If you park outside, I bet its cat(s) climbing up and down on your truck, Ive seen a cat using my front end to get up there too. The headlights make a good clawhold.
