    Anybody seen these before? First and second gen available. Kind of expensive but it means I don't have to spend time mocking up the same thing with cardboard and then go to the store to get push fastners.

    I should add my stock ones are ripped at all the holes from pulling them on and off otherwise I wouldn't be looking at this. Plus WI Winters are something I'm prepping for...

    Pretty sure those are by @cnote4l. I think Monte and Mike have both purchased a set. Not sure if they are installed yet, but as I recall they looked pretty nice when received. @Blackdawg @Digiratus

    @Blackdawg @BossFoss

    We drove up the Shoshone Lake road today as far as Suicide Point. No snow up to that point. Encountered several Razrs and 4 wheelers and a Jeep going in and didn't see them coming back out. I assume they made it down to the lake. One 1st Gen Tacoma was airing down at the pull out on top of the switchbacks as we were coming out. It was a really nice day for a drive..._MG_3175.jpg

    The group buy price was $55 IIRC and that included new clips. Overall fit was pretty good but not perfect. There were a couple pre-made holes that didn't line up, but still secure enough.

    Awesome! I will be coming down there some point to run that. Need to buy a skid plate for Igor though first. Not gonna do that without one. Stock ones fell off haha

    Would do it no problem with stock skids.

    I don't even have those though. They fell off this winter and are super mangled.

    The secondary one was half ripped off as you know. Then one day during one of the many terrible blizzards I drove through, so much Ice and snow got shoved up there it ripped off the mounts from all the other bolts. The bolts are still in the truck haha Far as I know anyways..

    I just pulled up to park and had been hearing a weird noise all morning on the drive in. Got out to see what was rubbing just assuming it was ice build up and all the skids were just being drug along by one of the hooks up front.

    So..need something up there. Been driving without them for a while now.

    Not super likely. Yota parts aren't easily had out here. Plus a front skid doesn't cost that much anyways

    When are you thinking of going? I'm out of town for a couple weeks, but might chase you down on the 4 wheeler or something if it happens later in July while I'm I'm town. Not sure my truck is up for the whole trail, I've got skids but no sliders or locker.

    You on a lift and tires? Might be okay without sliders. Though I haven't done it in a long time and know the last two years have been a lot of runoff.

    I'm not super sure now. Was going to go this weekend while the lady was out if town so she wouldn't feel bad if I went down later this summer. Going to spend the weekend building a butcher block type counter with my dad though.

    So eventually I'll head down there. Have a mini mod day with Brett too.

    I know Colorado Brett had mentioned doing it this summer later so maybe I'll try and line it up with him.

    Old Man Emu "lift" and 235/85 tires. Definitely on the 'mild' side of things... I was fine as far as we went, but I think things get worse fast after that.

    You could make it. There's only like 2-3 spots that you'd have to be careful on to not ding a rocker panel.
